Public Participation

The Chair of the Parish Council will invite members of the public to present their questions, comments and petitions submitted under the Council’s Public Participation Procedure at the start of the meeting. Please note that the Clerk will record the names of those wishing to address the Council together with the subject matter prior to the start of the meeting and each speaker will be permitted 3 minutes in which to address members. Members are reminded of their obligations under the Code of Conduct.

2022/119              Declarations of Interest and Dispensations to Participate

a)         To receive declarations of interest in respect of matters contained in this agenda, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972 in respect of officers and the Localism Act 2011 in respect of members.

b)      To receive any dispensation requests received by the Parish Clerk and not previously considered.

 

2022/120          Minutes of Council Meetings

 To confirm and sign as a correct record the revised minutes of a meeting of the Parish Council held on 21^st February 2023 (copy attached) and the minutes of a meeting of the Parish Council held on 21^st March 2023 (copy attached).

To receive a report from Cllr Prickett.

2022/122              Highways/Environment

a)  Parish Environment

a.       Frome Road speeding letter (Cllr Carey to report).

2022/123              Planning Applications, Decisions and Consultations

 PL/2023/00952 - Land West of 3 Bradley Road, Southwick, Trowbridge, Wilts, BA14 9RJ - Erection of 1. no single detached dwelling (Outlined application relating to Appearance, Layout and Scale) (referred from March meeting).

 PL/2023/02177 – Eastbrook, Hoopers Pool, Southwick, Trowbridge, BA14 9NG - Conversion and extension of existing outbuilding to form annex.

 To receive and consider planning applications received after the issue of the agenda (where the response time falls outside of the meeting schedule and an extension cannot be obtained).

a)     To receive and note the Bank Reconciliation and Consolidated Financial Position Statement as at March 2023 (to follow on receipt of bank statement).

2022/127              Southwick Sports Club

To receive a report from the Club on planned refurbishments (please note that representatives of the Club will be in attendance to present the plans).

2022/128              Neighbourhood Plan Review

To receive any update reports from the Chair and to consider the quotation from Master Land and Planning for the completion of the Housing Assessment Report following the recent call for sites exercise (attached).

To note any items of correspondence: None at time of issue.

2022/130              Southwick Village News

To take delivery of the agreed pamphlet dispensers and agree locations for their installation (February minutes refer)
