004/19 MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER MEETING

These were agreed and signed with the following requirements: -

A to Letter to W Cllr. H. Prickett to be sent concerning Planning Decisions in Hoggington Lane; and the inconsistency of those decisions of Wiltshire Council Planning Officers concerning the actual Parish boundary and the maintaining of that boundary in planning terms.

It was reported that Wynsome St. /Goose St. drains are blocked, WC to be advised by The Parish Clerk via My Wiltshire website.

008/19 PLANNING APPLICATIONS

None were received

009/19 DECISIONS

None were received

010/19 FINANCE

Cllr. Carey requested, as the Parish Council support the Playfields Association Committee with funds that the parish request that all payments, accounts and minutes of the association be posted on the village website. The Parish Clerk was asked to make this request to The Playing Fields Association.

011/19 BANK

The bank statements were late due to the Christmas post, but are entered here and agreed as correct: -

Business Account balance as of January 15th, 2019. £38,922.84

Treasurers’ Account balance as of January 15th, 2019. £7,880,91

To review and authorise payments as follows.       

CLERKS SALARY £396.00

OFFICE EXPENSES £10.80

012/19 PRECEPT SUBMISSION

It was agreed to submit a Precept amount of £22,000.00 for the following financial year 2019/2020.

013/19 NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

It was agreed to submit an application for grant funding by January 31st, 2019 to progress the financing of the Neighbourhood Plan.

An extraordinary meeting will be held to review the progress of the plan to-date, subject to the preparation and submitting of the application in time. Provisional date for this meeting will be January 22nd, 2019 (to be confirmed.)

014/19 MEMEBERS REPORTS

Frome Road

Selwood Housing Assoc. will be contacted again to report the state of the fencing wires at the Frome Road properties, also the Hollis Way trees and pathways inspection. These items have been reported by The Parish Clerk previously, who will now telephone the association and insist the items are put in hand after inspection of the association’s surveyors.

It was resolved by The Parish Council that a vote of thanks be passed to thank Cllr. Pitney in his absence for his excellent report pertaining to the upgrading of the parish website and taking it forward so professionally with Cllr. Carey

015/19 THE PARISH CLERKS REPORT

That letters opposing the construction of the proposed WESTBURY INCINERATOR be sent to Wiltshire Council/Highways/Enviroment/Planning departments.
