Notice is hereby given that a meeting of Southwick Parish Council will be held at Southwick Village Hall on Tuesday 15 November 2016 at 7.30pm and you are invited to attend.
AGENDA.
1. Welcome and Introductions.
Chairman to welcome those present.
2. Apologies.
To receive apologies for non-attendance.
3. Declaration of Interests.
Councillors to declare an interest, if applicable.
4. Minutes of the Parish Council (PC) Meetings held on 18 October and 1 November 2016
To agree, and sign, the minutes of the meetings as an accurate record.
5. Community Policing Team (CPT).
a. To receive a report from the CPT.
b. If not covered in (a), to report on any progress as to why horses are escaping into the Country Park.
c. The Clerk to report on CPT’s response regarding the PC’s concern about non-apprehension of
offenders.
d. If not covered in (a), the Clerk to report on the abandoned car in the Village Hall car park.
e. Councillors to identify any other matters of concern.
6. Wiltshire Council Report.
Wiltshire Council, Cllr. Prickett to provide a report.
7. Highways/Environment.
a. The Clerk to present his findings relating to car parking at Arnold Noad Corner and Selwood Housing.
b. Wiltshire Councillor Prickett to report on progress regarding the implementation of the ‘missing’ street
light.
c. If not included in item 6 above, the PC to discuss the response from Wiltshire Council regarding heavy traffic on Wynsome Street.
d. The Bus Shelter (requested by Fleur de Lys/Chantry gardens estates).
e. The PC to discuss the need for representation at the Operational Flood Working group.
f. To receive a report from councillors on any matters of concern and to decide the action required.
8. Finance.
a. To receive a report from the Clerk on the current financial position.
b. The PC to discuss how the awarded Solar Farm grants should be paid and managed to ensure a proper audit trail.
c. The PC to discuss the best way to implement the approved Village Hall improvement grant.
d. The PC to discuss the contractual arrangements regarding grant money from Solafields solar farm.
e. To agree the payments to be made.
9. Planning.
a. To receive a report on the status of extant planning applications, if any change.

a. To invite the Council to note any other matter that needs to be brought to its attention.
b. To note the date of the next meeting – 20 December 2016 - Ordinary PC meeting at 7.30pm.
