Notice is hereby given that a Meeting of Southwick Parish Council will be held at Southwick Village Hall on Tuesday 19th June, 2018 at 7.30pm and you are invited to attend.
OPEN FORUM FOLLOWED BY THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING.
Prior to the meeting there will be a short Open Forum to allow members of the public to address the chairman and to raise matters of interest. The Open Forum will be no longer than fifteen minutes with a maximum of three minutes per person.
Members of the public are reminded that they must raise matters of interest direct to the Chairman in a polite, respectful and unemotional way and that there should be no reference to the personal views of any person.

AGENDA.
1. APPOINTMENT OF PARISH CLERK. I am happy to report to you all Mr. Steven King of Woolverton has accepted the position of Clerk to the Council.
Mr. King has served in the capacity of Clerk before and brings a life time of other experiences to the position. He served on the Bath Criminal, Family and Licensing Bench as a Justice he also sat in Bristol Crown Court of appeals. He ran his own successful businesses’ in and around Swindon and Bath.
He gained much of his knowledge of the county by serving for a number of years as The High Sheriff’s Clerk of the Office and has been Electoral Presiding Officer to Warminster Garrison for Wiltshire Council.
His military service was in the Royal Air Force at Lyneham as part of The RAF Regiment Aux.I believe he is keen to progress the re-establishment of our administration and I am sure he will be a wise vocal advisor on our procedures and protocols to the benefit of all members.
