WILTSHIRE COUNCIL REPORT.
Wiltshire Councillor Mr. H. Prickett provided a report:-
1. No.5 Poplar Tree Lane Enforcement Orders, no report from WC on the delay has been received. (The Clerk will continue to press WC for information concerning the delay using the advisory manual provided by WC, circulated to members.)
2. Update on the WHSAP-EIP report for more housing across the county. WC will deliver their report in 8 weeks’ time.
3. Complaints were received about the footpath surface potholes at Southwick Allotments, a report had been logged and action will follow shortly.
4.The premises at 100 Frome Rd were still under enforcement orders which were being pursued by WC.
5. Various malfunctioning Street lamp locations were being repaired or upgraded
6. A Planning application for 95 houses in North Bradley REFVAL19/02095/OUT Organ Pool Farm had been opposed by North Bradley Parish Council. Southwick Parish Council supported their decision.
Motion to re-convene.
COMMUNITY POLICING TEAM.
No report for April from PCSO Melissa Glover was forthcoming.
HIGHWAYS/ENVIRONMENT.
To receive reports from Councillors on matters of concern and to decide
what actions to take :-
It was noted that Beech House residents had not cut back the high and long
Garden hedge and that it was a nuisance to residents. The Clerk was asked
to inform the resident that they had until the 30th September 2019 or
Wiltshire Council would carry out the work and invoice them accordingly.

Grant Request
Application for Parish Council Grant requested for £498.40p from: -
FIASS, for funds concerning a grant for a computer and peripherals was discussed, it was resolved that the application be deigned by Members on the grounds of that there already exists numerous confidential professional consumer advice services available across Wiltshire(150 organisations) for local residents to seek help from, on a range of personal, financial and consumer topics. The Clerk was asked to inform FIASS of The Councils decision.
MEMBERS REPORTS
NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANNING/STEERING GROUP COMMITTEE
Cllr. J. Eaton provided a detailed progress report of the last meeting of the Steering Group.
Discussion over the invitation from Lichfield’s, Gladman’s and MH to meet with the Parish Council and any other housing developers or their agents was discussed. The Parish Council will consider the appropriate way that dealings with housing developers or their agents should be handled. It was resolved that all correspondence, phone calls, texts, emails and any other proposed meetings must be agreed by the Parish Council. It was requested that The Neighbourhood Plan Committee and the Planning consultant must advise the Council of any contact with housing developers or their agents who might want to meet the Parish Council or its sub-committees.
It was agreed by Members that The Parish Clerk should continue to work with the Neighbourhood Plan Sub-committee.
The Clerks Report.
The Clerk circulated the correspondence addressed to the Chairman concerning Redrow’s agent Lichfield’s, seeking to meet with the Parish Council.
Scouts correspondence concerning a payment to The Parish Council was read out and Ten pounds was received from the Scouts organisation.
The Clerk will continue to liaise with WC concerning the Church St. parking problems and the School access traffic flow.
Purchase of the ARNOLD BAKER Local administration 11th Ed., Handbook £129.99p. to be delivered for the next meeting.
The creation of Register of Interests by members and their partners, forms were distributed and signed for return to the Clerk.
The demolition of the road sign at the roundabout a Wynsome St has been reported to WC.
